About SEBASTIANO: 

Sebastiano Tomada is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker who’s work was primarily focused on documenting the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yemen. Traveling extensively for publications in both the United States and Europe, Sebastiano’s work focused on conflicts in some of the world’s most volatile regions, particularly the Middle East and Asia. With clients including Vanity Fair, The New Republic, Rolling Stone, The Atlantic and WSJ, Sebastiano received several prestigious honors, including a World Press Photo Award, the 2013 Humanitarian International Red Cross (ICRC) Visa d’Or and more recently an award by the Overseas Press Club, a National Magazine nomination, and the “2017 best iPhone photo of the Year” by TIME Magazine.

 

In 2017 after working as a Director on a six-episode mini series for A&E and The History Channel, Sebastiano began working on commercial video projects as a Director and DoP.

 

Through his extensive production experience Sebastiano closely works with many digital ad agencies on the development of branded content through TV and social media platforms.

In 2021 Sebastiano founded BANGBANG STUDIO, a full service production company focused on what he calls "Editorial Documentary.
